Growing up in rural New Hampshire, I spent much of my adolescence and young adult life exploring the forests of New England. These experiences ignited my imagination and inspired me to draw, paint, and sculpt what I observed around me – thus learning the lessons nature had to offer through artistic expression. As an adult I still feel the same sense of wonder and excitement when I enter a forest, which is why my art continues to be heavily influenced and centered around nature.

In 2018, I started Silvatica Designs as a synthesis of my background in forestry and passion for the arts. This platform allows me to educate the public about sustainable forest management while creating handcrafted jewelry which serves as a connection to nature and a physical representation of love for our forests. Over the past four years, I have continued to develop and hone my design, woodworking, and metal smithing skills through workshops and independent studies with local artists.

I’m a very passionate and enthusiastic person and I love being able to follow my whims to create original pieces that bring me joy.
